About Our Company
Cimarron Minerals Corp. (CMC) is an exploration company dedicated to the discovery of mineral deposits in Sonora, Mexico. Our key property of focus is the 100% CMC controlled 24,034 hectare Agua Grande mineral claim with high gold - silver- copper potential associated with emplacement of the Sonora batholith. There are more than 50 prospect pits and mineral occurrences within the claim block, including two previously operating gold - silver mines. The Company's value creation strategy is underway and includes drilling established high quality targets within the Agua Grande claim block and acquisitions. CMC acquired the Batamote gold mine in the first ΒΌ of 2011 after positive diamond drilling results from Phase I drilling in 2009.
The Company has established a network of contacts in Sonora that has resulted in a pipeline of new projects, all within Sonora. We evaluate an average of 8 potential new projects every month that have yielded option agreements on three high quality projects in addition to Agua Grande. We will continue to evaluate and acquire in order to assure ourselves of a constant pipeline of drill ready projects.
Key members of Cimarron's management and technical team have worked together for more than a decade having been associated with exploration teams that have discovered multimillion ounce gold deposits in several countries in North and South America. We bring our combined gazillion years of knowledge and experience to our efforts in Mexico with the attitude that "success is the only option".
